The Mount Holly School art program
includes art appreciation, arts production, and
drama. Art appreciation
consists of art history, criticism, and aesthetics.
We study many periods of art such as the Stone Age, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and Rome,
the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the Impressionists. We also look at art from other
cultures including African, Japanese, Mayan, and Native American.
All students also have a fifty minute arts production class each week.
This class allows students to learn about and use a variety of mediums and techniques.
